Author and Humanitarian

I was born in a small town called Greenwood, Mississippi. I've always enjoyed writing poetry, and I submitted an entry to a poetry contest given by the National Library of Poetry. Soon after, my first poem, “May,” was published in the early 1990s. I also had a successful television show in 1994 called “Poetry in Motion,” which promoted poetry, anti-drug messages, and black history. After publishing four more poems, I decided to write my own book, which is a blessing to publish. I enjoy spending time developing my ideas into books, poetry, and videos.
